Stefania Azzopardi joined the Office of the Commissioner for Revenue in 2007 and since then, she has been responsible for legal matters related to taxation, including civil and criminal litigation of tax related cases. Dr Azzopardi has also been involved in drafting of policies, including policies of best practice and today holds the position of senior legal office.

She was admitted to the bar in 2006 after graduating from the University of Malta in 2005 and holds a Masters Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation.
