Konrad Abela
Head - Technology & Information Security
Konrad Abela, Head of the Technology and Information Security section, joined the FIAU in 2019. He is responsible for the development and management of this section, leading the implementation and maintenance of new information and security systems.
In 2005, Mr Abela graduated with a Bachelor of Computing and Information Systems (Hons) degree from the London Metropolitan University and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer who has been in the IT and Information Security industry for the past 15 years.
Mr Abela previously worked in the private sector as a director of an IT service provider specialising in IT infrastructure projects, ERP implementations, Web development and information security consultancy for local and international clients. He has also previously led and assisted in various network and IT security projects for various clients and organisations.
