From day one, I’ve been given the opportunity to learn and grow, both personally and professionally. The exposure to such a dynamic environment has deepened my understanding of AML and the vital role the Unit plays in safeguarding the country’s financial system. I’ve been encouraged to take initiative, contribute meaningfully, and expand my skill set through a variety of projects, including the opportunity to both attend and present at training events. What stands out most is the supportive culture and how everyone here is genuinely invested in helping each other succeed. I feel privileged to be part of such a forward-thinking and collaborative team, and I’m excited to continue this journey with the FIAU.

Throughout my internship, I have been aided in growing from both a professional and personal perspective. The supportive guidance from colleagues has allowed me to approach new tasks with confidence and continuously build on what I learn each day. During my time with the Legal Affairs Section, I have had the opportunity to assist with a variety of tasks and gain valuable insight into the Unit’s work at both national and international levels.
