NCC Training Session on Beneficial Ownership

The Financial Intelligence Analysis Unit (FIAU) would like to inform interested parties that the National Coordinating Committee on Combatting Money Laundering and Funding of Terrorism is organising a training session on beneficial ownership. Presentations on this topic will be delivered by:

• Dr Geraldine Spiteri Lucas (Registrar of Companies and Chief Executive Officer of the Malta Business Registry)
• Dr Jonathan Phyall (Head – Legal Affairs at the FIAU)
• Mr Yehuda Schaffer (International Consultant)

The presentations will be followed by a panel discussion on beneficial ownership.

While this training session is open to everyone, it is principally intended for junior staff within compliance functions and independent practitioners.

The training session is being held on Wednesday, 20 July 2022 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in St Julians between 09:00 and 14:00. The session is free of charge but attendance is on a first come first served basis. Anyone interested to attend is to register via email on [email protected] by not later than Friday, 8 July.
