The FIAU recently launched its Annual Report for 2021. Our report highlights our journey through 2021, the challenges, the successes, the achievements, and the things we aspire to achieve and improve in the future. It tells our story, who we are, what we do and why we do it. Every year the FIAU faces new challenges, each one tackled head on with passion, determination, and hard work. In the end, our aim is to combat money laundering and terrorism financing whilst safeguarding our Country’s reputation and its integrity. 2021 can be seen as a landmark year, characterised not only by the grey listing of Malta but also by the several developments to increase the effectiveness of the FIAU’s operations – developments that were key in seeing Malta exiting the grey list in record time. Download the full report here or request a hard copy on [email protected]. For the first time, we have an electronic highlights version too.
