The FIAU would like to remind Subject Persons that, pursuant to Regulation 6 of the Prevention of Money Laundering and Funding of Terrorism (Amendment) Regulations (L.N. 82 of 2026), the six-month transitional period applicable to requests for out-of-court settlement agreements in respect of administrative penalties subject to appeal expires on 1 October 2026. Accordingly, upon the expiry of this period, the FIAU will no longer be able to consider such requests.
