Save the date: Training Session on the newly published Enforcement Fact Sheet

16th January 2024

Following the issue of its ‘Enforcement Factsheet: A Compilation of Regulatory Actions – 2021/2022’ in January 2024, the FIAU is organising a half-day training session on 15th February 2024. This event will focus on the most material AML/CFT breaches determined by the Compliance Monitoring Committee which feature thereon, with the principal aim of enhancing subject persons’ understanding of these obligations and to present practical compliance scenarios through the presentation of various case studies.

Despite the factsheet’s focus on breaches identified in 2021 and 2022, the session will also present updates from cases determined during 2023 and include pointers on the obligation of transaction monitoring particularly, updates since the issue of the related guidance paper in April 2023, namely, ‘A Look Through the Obligation of Transaction Monitoring’.

In addition to the training and case studies, the event will also include a panel to address any queries which may arise.

Further details, including information on the registration and agenda, will be provided shortly.
