SMB FAQs on the ban imposed on Russian-flagged vessels from entering European Ports

The FIAU would like to bring to your attention the fact that the Sanctions Monitoring Board (SMB) has published guidance in the form of FAQs, due to the sanctions imposed on Russia, focusing on the ban imposed on Russian-flagged vessels from entering EU Ports.

Subject persons are strongly advised to keep abreast of developments related to their obligations, to be up-to-date with the latest sanctions and restrictive measures imposed by the European Union against Russia, and how to ensure adherence to them.  Information on these measures can be accessed through the following dedicated webpage maintained by the SMB here.
