Upcoming CASPAR Security Enhancements: Two-Factor Authentication and Recovery Keys

The FIAU is introducing new security features to the Compliance and Supervision Platform for Assessing Risk (CASPAR) platform. To further protect your data and enhance account security, Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and Recovery Keys will soon be available.

These measures are part of our ongoing commitment to safeguarding your information and ensuring a secure user experience.

Key Updates

  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Adds another layer of protection by requiring a verification code in addition to your password when signing in.
  • Recovery Keys: Provide a secure method for regaining access to your account if your primary authentication method becomes unavailable.

Action Required

  • Setup Instructions: Detailed, step-by-step setup instructions are available in the accompanying Guidance 2 Factor Authenticator Document by accessing the Supervision page.
  • Existing 2FA Users: Please note that users who already have 2FA enabled will be prompted to reconfigure their 2FA settings once this update is implemented.

We encourage all users to read the Guidance Document in the link below to familiarise themselves with the upcoming setup process. Once the enhancement is deployed (expected within the next one to two weeks), you will be prompted to complete the setup to ensure continued secure access to CASPAR.

Thank you for your attention and for your continued trust in CASPAR.
