Training on Risk Assessment and the Risk Evaluation Questionnaire

In preparation for the submission of the Risk Evaluation Questionnaires (REQs) 2020, the Financial Intelligence Analysis Unit (FIAU) has organised a half day training session, to provide subject persons with information on the Compliance and Supervision Platform for Assessing Risk (CASPAR), the FIAU’s risk assessment methodology to risk assess subject persons, a summary of the results from the 2019 REQs submissions and an update on the changes occurring to the 2020 REQs.
The speakers have vast experience and expertise in the AML field and have been working with the FIAU for a number of years. The sessions will be delivered by officials from the Risk & Enforcement Section who are responsible for the implementation of the FIAU’s Risk Assessment Methodology including the development of the REQs for the year 2020. An official of the Legal Affairs Section who has been actively involved in the development of the 2020 REQs, and who has vast experience in the AML/CFT legal obligations of subject persons shall also be a speaker during these sessions.
