Notice – CBAR System – Downtime

The FIAU would like to inform CBAR Reporting Entities that on Thursday 13th October 2022, between 12:30 PM and 15:30 PM there will be a scheduled down time. During this maintenance window, MoveIT ( and CBAR Portal ( will be inaccessible. All operations around the platform, including file submission, validation report generation and user registration will resume immediately after the maintenance window.

In this respect, the FIAU would like to remind CBAR Reporting Entities (REs) that their reporting obligation of one submission every seven days is a minimum and that one is allowed to submit ahead of the seventh day. The deadline for next submission will adjust accordingly.

The FIAU will be using this time to perform updates to the email notifications as recommended by subject persons during the meeting held on the 9th of June 2022. The most recent update will be complementing the current workflow and will not be adding any extra steps for REs in carrying out their reporting obligations. Changes are summarised hereunder:

System-generated email notifications will be sent to CBAR Reporting Entities to further clarify the stage of the submitted file. Emails will also serve to guide Reporting Entities in case further steps need to be taken before the file submission can be approved.
