11th September 2024

The FIAU would like to inform the reporting entities that following recent communication, technical documentation in relation to the report indicators and XML schema have been finalised and are now available.

Report Indicators

The FIAU is releasing information on the newly updated report indicators that will be launched by the end of the year. It is important that reporting entities are prepared to select the new report indicators, as the old indicators will no longer be available anymore. For the reporting entities submitting in XML format, please update your local systems with the new report indicators to avoid report rejection.

New Report Type on goAML: Call for Action Report (CFAR) and Call for Action Transaction Report (CFATR)

The Call for Action Report (CFAR) and Call for Action Transaction Report (CFATR) will both be introduced on goAML as of 1st January 2025. The main purpose of these reports is for subject persons to report transaction(s) and/ or activity(ies) connected to Category 1 jurisdictions by means of the goAML platform, in line with the provisions of Regulation 11(11) of the PMLFTR.

Technical Documentation

An updated technical package including the following has been released.

  1. XML Schema – XSD version 5.0 (mainly for XML submitting reporting entities).
  2. XML Schema Technical Documentation explaining the changes to the schema, including the new fields that can be used for enhanced reporting.
  3. XML examples for the comment reporting types (SAR and STR).

An upgraded goAML test environment and web portal end user guide, featuring new UI improvements has been released.
